SKYRYSE

ONE

The disruptive transportation sector is filled with moonshots and category creators. But even amongst EVTOLs and spaceflight startups, Skyryse had a unique challenge.

We had to reveal and commercialize a pre-certification helicopter, Skyryse One. A new aircraft category of one. We needed to introduce the universal flight operating system, SkyOS. Also a category of one. And we had to launch both products under the banner of a newly reimagined Skyryse brand.

A complex brief, so we took a cue from our our ultra streamlined flight controls. We kept it simple.

Shooting in a hangar isn’t ideal, but not uncommon for something this cutting edge. So we looked to auto brands for inspiration on the ground. Alex Bernstein’s work for Porsche and Aston Martin reflected the simple, elevated elegance of the Skyryse brand.

Simplicity is the driving force behind Skyryse One and SkyOS. They make flying simpler so flight becomes safer. It’s also at the heart of the brand, making Skyryse stand out in an industry that almost fetishizes complexity.

LAUNCH EVENT

Before unveiling Skyryse One to over a half million attendees at AirVenture, we launched an integrated campaign of targeted ads, social content, and earned media.

The competition for media attention at AirVenture is fierce. But the Skyryse story broke though, even transcending aviation media with special recognition from Fast Company.
